"I have grown up and lived here on the Island for 40 plus years", Tachi says. "My art is influenced and inspired by the natural environment of the Island. My primary work is mixed media landscape paintings. I have been painting with acrylics for over 30 years. My secondary artistic expression is what I call abstract Improv doodles. The doodles are highly patterned watercolor mixed media visually textured sketches."

Tachi attended North Island College and Emily Carr University on a full scholarship from the Audain society. She has largely shown and sold her art on Island at the galleries and on line.
