  Beloved Denman ART Studio Tour Returns August 15–16, Showcasing 27 Artists Across 20 Island Studios Denman Island, BC — August 2026 — The beloved Denman ART Studio Tour returns this summer on August 15 and 16 , inviting visitors to explore the island’s rich creative landscape. Running daily from 10 am to 5 pm , this self‑guided tour features 20 open studios and the work of 27 artists , offering an intimate look into one of the most vibrant arts communities in the region. Tour maps are available at the Hornby Farmers’ Market info booth and at the Denman Island Arts Centre , guiding guests to studios nestled in forests, gardens, shorelines, and village spaces. 🎨 A Diverse and Inspiring Artist Lineup Visitors will encounter an extraordinary range of mediums and artistic voices, including: Bente Pilgaard — Abstract acrylic and mixed‑media works blending Danish minimalism with Italian zest for life at Studio B . The 2025 Denman ART Studio Tour was a resounding success, and we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make it such a memorable weekend. Visitors came from near and far to explore the studios of more than 20 talented artists, and this year’s tour saw a significant increase in attendance. Many artists reported stronger sales than in previous years—one studio noted a remarkable 61% increase compared to 2024! We are also delighted to announce that the winner of this year’s draw basket is  Stephanie Slater of Denman Island . Congratulations, Stephanie! She was absolutely thrilled to receive the collection of treasures donated by our participating artists and local businesses. On August 16 & 17 on Denman Island, step inside the studios of over 20 incredible local artists working in everything from stained glass and ceramics to weaving, mixed media, and photography. Each artist brings a distinct vision, style, and medium to the table — and together, they offer a vibrant tapestry of creativity, tradition, and innovation. Here's a glimpse into their worlds: Bonnie Snair Bonnie’s luminous stained glass pieces are framed with natural materials like driftwood, live edge wood, and barnboard — making each piece a perfect balance of color, light, and organic texture. Jenn Gosse Jenn’s studio is a playground of mediums: epoxy, acrylics, pen & ink, and clay. She experiments freely, creating layered, unexpected works that span 2D and 3D forms.
