10. Brianna Getz - Moth and Moon

Studio location : 1745 Corrigal Road, Denman Island

An entirely self taught artist, Brianna draws inspiration from folklore and the human condition. Their art falls firmly in the wearable art category. Brianna is an accomplished weaver and seamstress, creating pieces that make the mundane magic. Though you can often find them behind a set of knitting needles or twirling a spindle making yarn. Recently their art journey has taken them in the direction of silversmithing, making wearable talismans from fine silver.

You can catch them at the Denman Island Farmers Market on Saturday mornings with the rest of the Salty Sirens, peddling their wares.
