Unique stained glass framed in driftwood, live edge or barnboard

"I love glass and I love the way light can transform the simplest piece and make it sing. I have been working with glass for the last 20 years and my goal is to take an ancient art form and feature it in a new, more modern way. Like many artists, I am inspired by nature and the sky. In much of my art I have tried to capture the beauty of a sunrise or sunset. I love to repurpose things and use this in my art. Whether it’s 100-year-old barnboard framing some of my pieces or live edge wood that has been collected from trees that have fallen naturally, and /or were diseased or have died on their own. The driftwood I use has been collected off the beaches of Denman and you will often find me beachcombing the shores of our beautiful island finding treasures to incorporate into my work."
